Management of medical cases between Euro Assist & Subsidiaries

Travel Medical Assistance

In the event of accident or illness Euro Assist shall meet the cost of the hospitalisation expenses, surgical operations, medical fees, nursing expenses and medicines throughout our network of clinics and hospitals.

Transport and repatriation

  • In the event of accident, illness or death, Euro Assist shall meet not only the cost of the repatriation but also all the management, coordination and supervision.

 Coverage for the Companion

In case of Insured´s hospitalization or decease, AFRO ASIAN ASSISTANCE shall cover:  

  •  Round trip for a person accompanying the Insured.
  •  Trip for a person accompanying the deceased.
  •  Accommodation for the companion.
  •  Medical assistance for the companion (the same amount as contracted by the Insured).




*When the Insured has to extend his/her stay due to medical prescription, the hotel expenses and the return ticket shall be covered.


*Damages due to incidents affecting checked-in luggage and personal effects during transportation shall be covered:
  • In the event of loss, robbery or total or partial destruction (up to agreed limits).
  • Location and delivery of luggage.
  • In the event of a delay in excess of six hours in the delivery of the luggage, the expenses for basic necessities shall be covered (up to agreed limits).




  • Early return of the Insured because of the death of a relative or due to an emergency in his/her habitual place of residence. 

Travel Delay

  • In the event of delay in the departure of the means of transport contracted, Euro Assist shall meet any additional transport, hotel accommodation and board expenses, etc.
  • Compensation for basic expenses in the following cases:

      - Delay in the departure of the flight due to overbooking. Missed flight connections.



Personal Accidents

  • Indemnity in the event of death or permanent disability.

Personal Civil Liability:

  • The bodily and material damages unintentionally caused to third parties for which the Insured may be civilly liable during the period of validity of the policy shall be covered.

* In accordance with the policy conditions, Euro Assist shall cover the following services:

  • Dispatch of substitute executive.                                                        
  • Advance of funds abroad.

 *In the event of loss of passport abroad, Euro Assist shall cover:

  • Travel expenses in order to apply for a new passport.                                        
  •  Accommodation until obtaining a new one.
  • Information on visas and vaccinations.
